It has many beaches, which you will immediately fall in love with and its sea makes us proud for its transparent clearness.<br \/>\nIt has been continuously inhabited for 6,500 years and traces of its history are evident in every step you take.<br \/>\n&#8220;Chorio&#8221;, the main village of the island, is large\u00a0 and full of life.<br \/>\nIn its centre you can visit the Medieval Castle, the Archaeological and Folklife museums and the very important Post-Byzantine churches. Walk through the labyrinthine alleys and enjoy the traditional Cycladic architecture.<\/p>\n<p>Taste the local delicacies and Kimolian products which display the character of the island.<br \/>\nSkiadi which is a sight of physical attraction, beaches like Hellinika, Mavrospilia, Dekas, Kalamitsi, Aliki, Bonatsa, Ennias, Rema, Goupa, Karas, Klima, Livadaki, Pigados, St George in Prassa, Monastiria, Sufi and the round of\u00a0 Kimolos and Polyaigos (the largest uninhabited island in the Aegean Sea) by speedboat on organized tours are some recommendations for excursions that\u00a0 will impress you.<br \/>\nBeaches with blue, azure and transparent waters, organized beaches or not,<br \/>\nlong-stretched clean and windless beaches, beaches for every kind of mood! Our stores are on Giorgila\u2019s\u00a0 square which has a well and is in the main street of Chorio.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0 Chorio you can also find a community clinic , a post office , a pharmacy , traditional bakeries , caf\u00e8s , taverns and grill-restaurants, grocery stores, mini-markets , bars , patisseries , gelatery-\u00a0 creperie shop, gift and souvenirs shops and a bookstore.<br \/>\nYou can rent bikes , scooters and cars or you can take the bus or arrange a taxi.<br \/>\nYou will find a gas station in Agios Nikolaos &#8211; Klima.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kimolos Access<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kimolos is a small island in the western Cyclades , located 87 nautical miles from the port of Piraeus from which there are ferry routes\u00a0 back and forth. The journey lasts from 4 to 7 hours depending on the type of vessel.<br \/>\nWith the other Cycladic islands it is connected with inter Cyclad itineraries while it is daily connected\u00a0 with open-ended ferry to neighboring Milos. The duration from Milos(Appolonia) is only 30 minutes.<br \/>\nYou can also get to Kimolos by plane from Milos .There are daily flights from Athens International Airport Elefterios Venizelos to Milos which last 40 minutes.
